About Tim Clark

Education Consultant, Trainer, and Advocate

Welcome to My World

Welcome to my personal journey, which has culminated in my current role as an Education Consultant. It began in the historic halls of King’s School in Grantham and now spans global educational consultancy. Raised in Lincolnshire under my father’s guidance, a dedicated parish priest, I have relentlessly pursued educational excellence.

Professional Journey

Early Career and Education

From Lincolnshire to Leadership

My journey to becoming an experienced educationalist began in Lincolnshire’s rich historical backdrop. I earned a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Sheffield and a postgraduate certificate in education from the University of Nottingham. Subsequently, I explored 19th-century complexities, earning a Master’s degree that profoundly shaped my teaching philosophy.

Teaching and Headship Career

Shaping Minds, Leading Schools

As an experienced educationalist, for over three decades, I have dedicated myself to the noble calling of education. Starting as a history teacher, I later led as Headmaster/Principal of two distinct state secondary schools. My transformative leadership guided Spalding High School from “good” to “outstanding”. I also revolutionised the educational climate at Skinners’ Academy in Hackney amidst formidable challenges.

Embracing a Broader Mission

In 2019, I shifted to educational consultancy, eager to share my insights and promote educational reform globally.  The Royal Society of Arts and the City of London have recognised my dedication to education. These honours motivate me to continue my advocacy and training efforts.

Personal Interests

Philosophy on Education

I am convinced that education can transform lives and society. Every child has the potential to reach greatness, through varied paths and to different extents. My philosophy focuses on holistic development, nurturing not only academic skills but also a well-rounded character.

Beyond the Classroom

My travels through Europe’s historical sites to Asia’s vibrant cultures have been enlightening. Whether guiding young minds across the ski slopes or through the solemn battlefields of the Somme and Ypres Salient, these experiences have enriched the educational paths of both students and adults alike.
